This year for Road Atlanta, the MINI JCW Team and Mark Pombo, co-driver of the #37 car, are excited to partner with national nonprofit Hire Heroes USA as they provide the #37 car with a 4-member pit crew team that is comprised of military veterans. This new partnership program was created to promote Atlanta-based Hire Heroes USA and highlight their work, empowering transitioning military members, veterans and military spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce. Driver Mark Pombo, an 8-year Army veteran himself, is proud to support Hire Heroes USA as he himself knows first-hand the challenges of life after military service.
